Bride Bouquet

For a bride, her bouquet is one of the key elements to tie in her choice of colour and style for the wedding theme. An expensive fully wired and heavy cascading bouquet has become less popular over time. Although these make a huge statement they are quite cumbersome and definitely very traditional in nature. Replacing these are the more flowing natural cascade, usually with natural stems and the ever popular hand tied posy style.

Trending right now is the more loose and natural looking bouquet. For the popular bouquets of today, a wide variety of flowers suit and are incorporated. It's the shape and textures of the bouquet that really make the statement. Let's take a look at what each of the trending bouquets look like :)

Placed in order of popularity here are the bride bouquets trending right now...

HAND TIED FREE FLOWING BRIDE BOUQUET

The winner is... most requested bouquet from my brides right now! Lots of texture and movement through the bride bouquet, there is nothing tight about this design at all. This form works with any style of wedding dress and is always a pretty choice for a bride bouquet.

Equally stunning using natives, you are open to use flowers like premium roses, lisianthus, freesias, veronica, peonies when in season.

HAND TIED POSY

With a more rounded shape than the free flowing bride bouquet, the hand tied posy is easy to carry, firmer in its structure and offers a more recognised bride bouquet. Flowers are nestled closer together in this design and a rounded shape is kept to with the middle being high and doming out to create a circumference all around.

Extremely easy to carry and doesn't have to be heavy at all.

NATURAL CASCADE

For a more traditional looking bride bouquet you may like to consider a cascade. There will be a little more skill involved in putting this together as flowers are wired to create this shape.

As opposed to the whole bouquet being wired and placed into shape, a natural cascade means that there are natural stems for most of the flowers and the tear drop shape is added last (the wired part)

The Natural Cascade bride bouquet is a more affordable option as opposed to a fully wired cascade bouquet.
